Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Chicago is seeking a Group Sales Coordinator to support the sales team, coordinate group and wedding business, and prepare proposals while handling client communications with care.

You will work with Sales, Catering, Conference Services and other hotel departments to deliver seamless events and maintain accurate client records, ensuring follow-up and exceptional service that builds lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint.
• Alphabetizing, grammar and punctuation skills.
• Standard business letter formats.
• Strong editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer sales office phones and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Type contracts, proposals and correspondence.
• Coordinate group and wedding business with the sales manager and DOS.
• Communicate with departments to ensure events exceed client expectations.
• Maintain organized client and file management to support sales team.
• Develop client relationships through professional interactions.
