Job summary

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort seeks a Front Desk Associate to shape first and final guest impressions with warmth, attentiveness, and professional discretion. You will manage arrivals and departures, verify guest details, and coordinate across departments to deliver seamless, personalized experiences in a Forbes Five‑Star, AAA Five‑Diamond setting.

You will draw on deep knowledge of accommodations, dining, recreation, and programming to offer thoughtful recommendations while protecting guest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; candidate must be at least 18 years old.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication is expected.
• Hospitality experience is preferred but not required; guest-facing experience is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth to create a polished first impression.
• Manage arrival and departure procedures; verify guest information and payments.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on accommodations, dining, and activities.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, Reservations, and other departments to fulfill requests.
• Protect guest privacy, handle cash transactions, and maintain an organized front desk.
• Communicate guest information clearly to ensure continuity of service across shifts.
• Respond to questions and service recovery opportunities with empathy and sound judgment.
