Job summary

The Flamingo Grill Captain at The Boca Raton is a senior service role focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure. You will master fine dining service techniques, tableside presentations, and in-depth knowledge of luxury beverages and foods.

You will lead by example, mentor service staff, and ensure flawless service execution across the dining room, including events and VIP dining. Strong leadership and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of fine dining server experience, preferably in a luxury resort/restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of dining room service procedures and tableside techniques.
• Knowledge of high-end food products, wines, spirits, and cocktails.
• Strong leadership presence with polished communication skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Ability to remain composed and authoritative in high-volume environments.
• Open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Own the guest experience for assigned tables, ensuring a seamless, elevated dining experience.
• Greet guests warmly, establish rapport, and maintain presence at the table.
• Anticipate guest needs and tailor service based on preferences and pacing.
• Perform tableside service with precision (saucing, plating, wine service, and cocktails).
• Handle guest concerns discreetly and execute service recovery when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and beverage offerings; educate guests through storytelling.
• Lead service flow in coordination with culinary team and supervise staff as needed.
• Oversee setup for private events, VIP dining, and special occasions.
