Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school or certification preferred.
• Experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and F&B management software (POS systems).
• Knowledge of food and beverage trends and luxury hospitality standards.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Spanish language skills advantageous.
• Self-motivation and ability to work with limited supervision.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle event inquiries from initial contact through post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate private dining, afternoon tea experiences, executive meetings, cocktail receptions, buyouts, and hotel events.
• Prepare detailed REOs, contracts, proposals, and event timelines.
• Conduct hotel and venue site inspections with prospective clients.
• Coordinate menus, wine pairings, specialty cocktails, floral arrangements, entertainment, signage, and customized guest experiences.
• Ensure all event details, including dietary requirements and VIP preferences, are communicated to operations.
• Deliver personalized service that exceeds guest expectations.
• Act as the primary contact for event hosts and organizers.
• Anticipate guest needs and create memorable moments.
• Coordinate VIP arrivals and high-profile celebrations.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, feedback, and concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion for all guests.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Pastry, Beverage, Restaurant, IRD, Stewarding, and other teams.
• Ensure flawless execution of all food and beverage experiences per Forbes and luxury hotel standards.
• Attend pre-event meetings and monitor events in real time.
• Identify opportunities to upsell premium dining experiences and hotel offerings.
• Support revenue goals through effective planning and relationships.
• Maintain accurate event records, client correspondence, and contracts.
