Job summary

Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations across all outlets, ensuring exceptional guest service and profitability. Working closely with the F&B Manager, you will lead a diverse team, drive standards, and contribute to the department's budgeting and goals.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma in Hospitality Management or F&B, 5+ years of relevant experience, strong English skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage required or preferred.
• MAST & Food Handler’s Certification required or preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Ability to speak other languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily F&B operations across all restaurant outlets and bars.
• Manage staff performance, training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and contribute to profitability and budgeting.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard team members; maintain staffing levels.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, and hotel standards; lead hygiene programs.
• Collaborate with F&B Manager and hotel departments to drive quality and guest satisfaction.
