Job summary

ABB Optical is seeking a Lab Premier Account Specialist to own designated lab premier accounts from receipt to shipment. This on-site role delivers white-glove service, including technical order reviews, education, QA, issue resolution, and multi-platform LMS data entry.

You will walk the lab floor, coordinate with production, handle high-touch customer inquiries, and ensure accurate prescription and lens customization details are validated before manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or related experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for high-stakes customer interactions.
• Strong PC and MS Office literacy with LMS and order-entry knowledge.
• 2+ years in optical lab operations or high-volume optical retail lab environment.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple systems during the workday.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the dedicated, single point of contact for lab premier accounts and builds deep relationships.
• Conducts regular check-ins to review account health and overall client satisfaction.
• Manages rush requests and expedites critical jobs to meet patient deadlines.
• Troubleshoots lens issues, lab delays, or prescription problems with clients.
• Updates clients with transparent timelines and technical options when delays occur.
• Advises on lens capabilities, availability, and customization options.
• Walks the lab floor to locate job trays and collaborates with production to resolve issues.
• Performs data entry across LMS and other platforms to log issues and track resolutions.
