Royal Palms Resort and Spa, a luxury destination in Phoenix, seeks an ambitious Event Manager to develop and close catering and corporate event business. You will manage the client journey from inquiry to event completion, delivering thoughtful solutions that exceed expectations.

In this highly visible role, you will build lasting relationships with clients and industry partners while meeting and exceeding your sales quota. Join a team across the property to create memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and close catering and corporate event business.
• Achieve or exceed your individual sales quota.
• Build relationships with clients, meeting planners, vendors, and industry partners.
• Conduct site inspections and confidently present resort venues and services.
• Manage contracts, proposals, forecasts, event details, and billing coordination.
• Partner with Banquets, Culinary, Reservations, Housekeeping, and AV teams.
• Attend pre-convention meetings and ensure events are prepared to client specifications.
• Help increase revenue through rooms, food & beverage, and meeting space.
• Resolve challenges quickly and create solutions that strengthen the client experience.
• Build a strong foundation in luxury hospitality, sales, and event operations.
