Job summary

Joybird is seeking a Design Sales Associate in Deer Park, IL to guide high-end clients through a premium showroom experience. You will curate luxury looks with world-class furniture and decor, earning uncapped commissions and a monthly bonus.

Base pay is $18.00 per hour with an uncapped commission on written sales (2% on all sales) and a monthly bonus of $500 based on meeting individual sales goals. Benefits include health, dental, 401k with match, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• 2+ years retail sales experience with shift supervision experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• No travel required.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for driving customer service and premium experiences; furniture industry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and assist in the absence of management.
• Oversee daily sales reporting and support the sales team to meet financial goals.
• Lead by example to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain showroom design and visual standards per merchandising guidelines.
• Grow personal client base through follow-up, outreach, and referrals.
