Job summary

Troubadour Golf & Field Club, located near Nashville, TN, seeks a Server to join its Food and Beverage Service Department. The role focuses on delivering an outstanding dining experience to members and guests with deep menu, beverage, and service knowledge.

This is a full-time hourly position with pay starting at $18.00 per hour plus gratuities. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking accurate orders, recommending pairings, handling POS transactions, and ensuring safety and cleanliness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of previous serving experience in a full service environment.
• Knowledge of ServSafe, HACCP, and local food safety standards; possesses or ability to obtain State Food Safety Certificate.
• Robust knowledge of wines and beverage.
• Extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and communication at all times with members/guests and team members.
• Greet all guests and members politely and promptly, proactively anticipate needs to enhance experience.
• Promptly respond to all guest/member requests.
• Present extensive knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, preparations, and specials; make recommendations.
• Thorough understanding of cocktails, wine, beer, and beverages; pair wine to menu items.
• Enter all transactions into POS, issue accurate checks, and close sales timely.
• Be attentive to any food allergies.
• Ensure orders are complete and accurate before delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas; stock daily; follow food safety standards.
• Keep restaurant appearance consistent; complete opening/closing duties as SOP.
• Conduct inventory of restaurant items as requested.
• Report maintenance/safety issues to the Restaurant Manager.
• Maintain all equipment and ensure proper handling.
• Ensure the department complies with government, safety, health, and security standards.
• Any other duties as assigned.
