Job summary

Red Hospitality & Leisure in Maui, HI, is seeking USCG-licensed Captains for Ali'i Class yachts offering premium charter experiences around Maui. You will lead a crew, ensure luxury guest service, and uphold top safety standards in all operations.

The role requires strong hospitality, excellent communication, and the ability to train deckhands while maintaining rigorous safety and regulatory compliance. Expect a dynamic, guest-focused environment with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current USCG Captain’s Credential with required endorsements.
• Ability to work outdoors in variable conditions and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe operation of USCG-inspected vessels.
• Oversee safety of crew and passengers during underway and docked.
• Coordinate pre-trip provisioning and vessel preparation.
• Provide luxury guest experience, including food & beverage service.
• Assist guests with gear setup and snorkel instruction.
• Track maintenance needs and report incidents promptly.
• Maintain accident protocols and train deck crew.
• Manage crew performance and duties.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
