Job summary

Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in Waimea, Hawaii seeks a Sailing Canoe Captain to ensure guest safety and provide an exceptional water experience for guests and Club Members.

Qualifications

• Must hold 25/50- or 100-ton Master Captain’s License.
• CPR or first aid certification required.
• 3+ years’ boat-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest safety and an elevated water experience.
• Greet guests warmly and offer assistance per resort standards.
• Steer and operate sailing canoe.
• Oversee vessel operations and crew.
• Dock and undock vessel and maintain safety.
• Coordinate crew and track daily logs.
