Job summary

RED Hospitality at The Bungalows in Key Largo, FL seeks a Vessel Captain to oversee USCG-inspected powerboats and sailboats. You will lead crew, ensure safety, and provide a luxury, guest-centric excursion.

Required: USCG Captain credential, Master 50 Ton near coastal, sail endorsement, TWIC, STCW Basic Training, First Aid/CPR; II/3 endorsement is a plus. You’ll manage provisioning, inspections, maintenance reporting, and guest satisfaction. Up to 50% travel and commission structure available.

Qualifications

• USCG Captain credentials and appropriate licenses are required.
• Master 50 Ton near coastal certification is required.
• Sail endorsement is required for sail catamarans.
• TWIC card and STCW Basic Training are required.
• II/3 STCW Endorsement is a plus for BVI operations.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe operation of USCG Inspected Vessel – Powerboats and sailboats
• Responsible for all crew and passengers’ safety while under way and on the dock
• Delegate and accounts for all pre-trip provisioning, preparation and vessel inspection, post trip cleaning and resupply.
• Ensure crew delivers an enjoyable, guest centric and luxury experience throughout the excursions (includes food and beverage).
• Account for and report routine maintenance and critical maintenance needs.
• Manage assigned crew member(s)
• Other duties as assigned.
