Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Master Technician in the United States. The role involves performing vehicle repair and maintenance to dealership and factory standards, communicating with Service Advisors and Parts to ensure smooth operations, and staying updated with OEM training and bulletins.

The position supports customer trust and safety across our nationwide network. You will diagnose issues, conduct inspections, document work, and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician preferred.
• Automotive technical training (factory training) may be required depending on location.
• Valid in-state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on the repair order using dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and make appropriate safety/reliability recommendations.
• Document all work performed on the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of standard tools and stay updated with factory bulletins and trainings.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
