Summary

Lead the Washington D.C. boutique in City Center as the Store Director, driving sales performance, operational excellence, and client development. Provide strategic direction and collaborate with regional and corporate teams to execute business plans and optimize store KPIs. Coach and develop the store team to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve financial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales team to meet budget targets and monitor/adapt store KPIs.
  • Create and update annual and quarterly store strategies in alignment with the RVP and merchandising partners.
  • Develop and execute business plans, identifying opportunities and partnering with corporate teams to implement improvement actions.
  • Recruit, hire, manage performance reviews, and develop direct reports while maintaining grooming and conduct standards.
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll accuracy, and staffing contingency plans to ensure operational continuity.
  • Spend majority of time on the sales floor (approximately 70%) while managing administrative responsibilities.
  • Ensure implementation of visual merchandising, loss prevention, inventory management, and retail operational procedures.
  • Build and maintain client relationships and external partnerships with mall management and local stakeholders; monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Requirements

  • Approximately 10 years of experience in luxury retail or working with luxury items.
  • Proven managerial experience with success developing and inspiring diverse teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and practical business planning skills.
  • Ability to cultivate local industry relationships and knowledge of local marketing/media landscapes.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude to learn store operation software.
