Job summary

Hermès Ala Moana Boutique in Honolulu seeks a Maintenance Associate to manage contract cleaning services and maintenance vendors, ensuring a flawless appearance during store hours. You will supervise technicians, coordinate with the Operations Director and LP Manager, provide daily maintenance progress updates, and support event setups in a luxury store environment.

Requirements include 2+ years in facility maintenance, a High School Diploma, and the ability to multi-task, communicate via email,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in facility and maintenance, preferably in a high-end environment.
• High School Diploma required.
• Must be able to stand, walk and operate cleaning equipment.
• Overnight and weekend work may be required due to schedule constraints.
• Ability to multi-task and email/use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Regular monitoring and cleaning of shelves, display cases, glass surfaces, restrooms and common areas during store hours.
• Address and resolve maintenance tasks; coordinate with vendors and LP/Store Director.
• Supervise all technicians in store and understand building systems.
• Provide daily maintenance progress updates; maintain strong communication.
• Ensure safety for staff during projects and emergencies.
• Review environmental safety issues and raise concerns to supervisor.
• Manage cleaning supplies and facilities (bulbs, cleaners, bathroom supplies).
• Supervise cleaning crews and support store events with setup/breakdown.
• Manage stock of kitchen supplies and perishables for bistro/bar service.
