Job summary

Whitman Family Development LLC, Bal Harbour Shops’ owner, seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee high-end maintenance operations, ensuring premier appearance, safety, and functionality.

You will lead technicians, coordinate vendors, and support property management to deliver exceptional guest experiences for luxury retailers.

The role requires 5–7 years of commercial property maintenance experience with supervisory responsibility and strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of commercial property maintenance experience, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, mixed-use, or Class-A properties preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, and lighting systems.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff and coordinate daily activities to meet luxury standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for critical systems.
• Manage vendor relations, contracts, and service providers.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Support tenant build-outs, move-ins, and after-hours responses.
• Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities.
