Rosewood Washington, D.C. is seeking a Part Time Bartender for CUT Restaurant by Wolfgang Puck. The role delivers luxury guest experiences, crafts drinks per recipes, and ensures bar cleanliness and stock, all while complying with liquor laws and hotel standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a luxury bar or hotel setting, high school diploma, strong attention to detail, and flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays. TIPS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as bartender in a luxury setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to upsell beverages and knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights and holidays.
• TIPS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide luxury guest experience at all times.
• Prepare drinks in accordance with specified recipes.
• Daily checks of bar for cleanliness and proper stocks of supplies.
• Support and assist bar and cocktail program; knowledge of beer, wine and spirits.
• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and standards and comply.
• Adhere to state liquor regulations; avoid serving minors or intoxicated patrons.
• Anticipate guests' needs and build rapport.
• Know hotel services and respond to guest inquiries accurately.
• Follow all service standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required by the Director of Food & Beverage.
