Job summary

The Biltmore Hotel is seeking a bartender who provides guests with consistently high-quality drinks and exemplary service. You will be meticulous about drink preparation, bar cleanliness, and adherence to BSOP procedures while delivering a premium guest experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining bar pars, handling orders efficiently, and educating guests on menu offerings with professionalism and enthusiasm. Strong English and basic math are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Compute accurate mathematical calculations for recipes and bills.
• Provide legible communication and directions to guests and staff.
• Perform duties with speed, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work well under supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive guest relationships to ensure 100 % guest satisfaction.
• Offer guests the highest service levels and product knowledge.
• Maintain bar pars accuracy at all times.
• Present separate checks and handle payments per policy.
• Take drink and food orders in a single, complete trip.
• Explain and suggest drinks, knowing the menu well.
• Ensure drinks are served in correct glass with proper garnish.
• Adhere to I.D procedures and service standards.
• Daily reconciliation of sales and credit information.
• Keep workstation clean and stocked with garnishes and supplies.
