Job summary

Lelch in Minnetonka, MN is seeking an experienced AV System Designer/Drafter to design luxury residential AV, lighting, shades, and control systems for high-end homes.

You will collaborate with sales, draft detailed design documentation using CAD (Revit ideal), and ensure precise integration of Crestron/C4/Savant, Lutron, and networked systems. Solid people skills and high EQ are valued as you lead projects from concept through installation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential AV design or drafting.
• Proficiency with CAD and ideally Revit.
• Deep knowledge of Crestron, C4 and Savant, plus lighting/shading systems by Lutron.
• Excellent collaboration with sales teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Create design and engineering documentation for low-voltage systems in luxury residences.
• Understand and apply CAD and Revit where possible.
• Detail signal flow, networks, lighting/shading, and control systems.
• Coordinate with construction phases and project teams.
