Genesis of Schererville is hiring an Automotive Technician for a full-time role at a brand-new luxury dealership serving Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area.

The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic abilities, efficiency in repairs, and excellent communication skills to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Pay ranges from $16 to $50 per hour based on skill level, with comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Must have clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional service needs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
