Genesis of Schererville is seeking a Head Detailer for a brand-new luxury dealership serving Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area. The role focuses on maintaining pristine vehicles, from exterior washing to interior detailing and final quality inspections.

The ideal candidate is mature, detail-oriented, with strong organizational abilities and a commitment to high customer service. The position offers a brand-new facility opening July 2026 and benefits including health, dental, vision, life

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and hold a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen.
• Previous vehicle detailing experience required.
• Mature, disciplined personality with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash exterior surfaces
• Apply wax to auto body
• Clean upholstery, rugs and interior surfaces
• Vacuum vehicle interiors
• Conduct final inspections for quality standards
• Maintain organized tracking log for keys and plates
• Manage detail pick-up/return for scheduled appointments
• Ensure detail log is updated daily
• Assist with transporting vehicles between locations as needed
• Monitor inventory and reorder chemicals and supplies as required
• Provide high-quality customer service by addressing detail needs and timely communication
