Job summary

indiGO Auto Group seeks a full-time Service Technician to join our Mercedes‑Benz team in Palm Springs. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain luxury vehicles in a fast-paced environment with growth opportunities for top performers.

The role requires 1–2 years of technician experience, formal technical training, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. Competitive compensation includes hourly pay plus commissions/bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ Service Technician experience required.
• Completion of technical training school or factory apprentice program.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and with written documentation.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check.
• Ability to be insured to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Receive and assign the next repair or service job from dispatcher or advisor.
• Perform diagnosis and report required work for authorization.
• Review vehicle history and factory bulletins relevant to the model.
• Make notes on required or suggested work for the customer and factory.
• Order parts as needed and complete authorized repairs.
• Conduct test drives and return vehicle to proper condition.
• Keep work area clean and maintain tools in good condition.
• Participate in safety guidelines and ongoing training.
