Job summary

BMW of Metro New York is seeking an Assistant Service Manager to support the Service Manager in overseeing a high-volume BMW service department, focusing on customer satisfaction, service revenue growth, technician productivity, and warranty compliance.

You will lead Service Advisors, Valets, Dispatchers, and support staff, coach advisors, monitor KPIs like CSI and NPS, and ensure compliance with BMW standards while driving a premium ownership experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years automotive service experience.
• Experience as Service Advisor, Team Lead, or Assistant Service Manager.
• Strong knowledge of BMW service operations and warranty processes.
• Experience with Dealertrack or similar DMS systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily service lane operations and workflow.
• Monitor appointments and shop capacity to optimize efficiency.
• Help ensure warranty documentation and policy compliance.
• Coach and develop Service Advisors on sales and customer handling.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
