Job summary

Swickard Auto Group, Mercedes-Benz of Wilsonville, is hiring a Detail Technician in the Portland metro area. You will perform interior and exterior detailing to luxury standards and prepare cars for guest delivery, ensuring the highest level of presentation.

Position offers flat-rate pay ($20–$24/hr) with benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus life insurance options. A valid driver’s license is required and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

Prior detailing, car washing, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
High personal standard for quality; you notice what others miss.
Self-directed and productive; flat-rate rewards speed and quality.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough interior and exterior detail work on vehicles to Mercedes-Benz luxury standards.
Prepare vehicles for guest delivery; ensure cleanliness and presentation.
Apply paint protection, fabric protection, and appearance products accurately.
Inspect vehicles for cosmetic issues during detailing and address or escalate as needed.
Operate detail equipment safely (pressure washers, buffers, vacuums, steam cleaners).
Coordinate with service advisors, sales staff, and porters to prioritize readiness and timelines.
Work on a flat-rate structure; throughput and quality drive earnings.
