Job summary

indiGO Auto Group, Porsche St. Louis team, seeks a full-time Sales Consultant to join our fast-paced luxury dealership. You will engage with customers, present vehicle options, and guide the sale from initial contact through delivery.

The role emphasizes teamwork, product knowledge, and a proactive sales approach. Successful candidates will have 3–5 years of automotive sales experience, strong verbal and math skills, and the ability to pass drug testing and a background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years automotive sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and math skills; these skills may be tested.
• Ability to be insured to operate a motor vehicle.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Make regular customer contacts by floor time, phone ups, mail, and personal visits.
• Maintain a record of all customer contacts and report progress to the sales manager.
• Obtain training for factory qualifications and product knowledge for each model.
• Perform regular contacts with previous customers and report performance to the sales manager.
• Take test-drives with customers according to management's guidelines for safety.
• Present offers to management for purchases of vehicles.
• Prepare and process paperwork to finalize vehicle sales.
• Deliver vehicles to customers, collect monies due, and process trade-ins.
• Schedule first service appointments and follow up with customers.
