Job summary

Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking an Assistant Buyer in New York to collaborate with Buyers and brand partners on order details, pricing changes, and market preparation. You will help monitor inventory productivity, analyze vendor profitability, and contribute data for pricing decisions while supporting online price changes.

The role requires 1–2 years of Assistant Buyer experience, strong retail math skills, and proficiency with Excel, RFS, AMS, PCW and NuOrder.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience as an Assistant Buyer in a major department store or similar.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Buyers and brand partners to confirm order details and updates.
• Oversee offshore team in creating and transmitting POs and tracking ship windows.
• Provide market insights and assist in assortment planning and price changes.
• Collaborate with colleagues on reports and analysis to maximize profitability.
