Exemplar Luxury Group is seeking an Assistant Buyer to support vendor selections, monitor inventory productivity, and analyze profitability to inform price changes and online updates.

You will liaise with Buyers and brand partners, oversee PO transmission, and provide market insights to guide assortment planning and market prep. This dynamic role requires retail math know-how, strong communication, and system proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience as an Assistant Buyer.
• Strong retail math and pricing knowledge.
• Ability to work with brand partners and offshore teams.
• Proficient with merchandising systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate order details with Buyers and brand partners.
• Oversee transmission of purchase orders and ensure accuracy.
• Provide allocations direction to Planning Allocation team for high-touch categories.
• Prepare market insights and coordinate market appointments.
• Support style-out sessions with logistics and insights.
• Lead development of strategic product assortments to drive sales.
• Monitor in-season performance and suggest actions.
• Manage markdown cadence and price changes with offshore teams.
• Generate Buying reports with offshore team.
