Job summary

The Cordish Companies are seeking a Maintenance Technician for One Light Luxury Apartments in Kansas City, MO. This role performs routine and preventative maintenance, make-readies, carpentry, painting, basic electrical and plumbing, and safety checks to keep a premier high-rise property in top condition.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, 3+ years of building maintenance, and CPO certification (EPA a plus).

Qualifications

• One year of make-ready experience in a high-rise setting.
• Experience with basic building trades and preventive maintenance.
• CPO certification required; EPA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and make-readies for apartments.
• Inspect interiors and exteriors; assist with repairs.
• Paint, minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing as needed.
• Maintain maintenance records and MSDS sheets.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure a clean environment.
• Patch drywall and paint as required.
