Job summary

The Liberty Group is seeking a Leasing Agent for our luxury apartment communities in Melbourne, FL. You will greet and qualify prospects, present tours, process applications, and secure deposits while ensuring Fair Housing compliance and a smooth move-in experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in apartment leasing, familiarity with multi-family leasing, and may have apartment software experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in apartment leasing.
• Familiar with apartment/multi-family leasing and Fair Housing.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and qualify by criteria (questions; guest cards).
• Record all visits on reports (phone and in-person).
• File guest cards and maintain per procedures.
• Inspect models and market-ready units; report service needs to Property Manager.
• Provide tours; highlight features and benefits; close the sale.
• Assist prospects with applications and deposits per procedures; Fair Housing rules.
• Process applications (credit check, rental history); follow up on status.
• Ensure apartment is ready for move-in on agreed date.
• Follow-up with unclosed prospects; refer to sister communities if needed.
• Obtain resident signatures on paperwork; orient new residents.
• Assist in renewals; distribute/track renewal notices.
• Monitor advertising effectiveness; report competition insights.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
