Job summary

The Liberty Group is seeking experienced Apartment Leasing Consultants in Hoboken, NJ to turn strong tours into signed leases. Pay ranges from $22 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. This on-site role requires 6+ months leasing experience and familiarity with Fair Housing.

You will greet prospects, present the living experience, secure leases, manage the leasing pipeline, and assist with renewals and marketing efforts. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months in apartment or multi-family leasing.
• Familiar with Fair Housing and leasing best practices.
• Valid government-issued ID required.
• Comfortable with phones, email, and sales conversations.
• Weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and tour prospective residents; follow up to drive move-ins.
• Communicate the value and living experience of the community.
• Secure lease agreements and assist with applications and screening.
• Track leads, manage leasing pipeline, and maintain prospect communication.
• Support renewals by coordinating renewal expirations.
• Assist with marketing efforts and resident events as needed.

What we are looking for?

• 6+ months apartment / multi-family leasing experience


• Familiar with Fair Housing and leasing best practices


• Valid government-issued ID


• Comfortable with phones, email, and customer-facing sales conversations


• (If required) Available to work weekends / peak touring hours

What you’ll do

• Greet and tour prospective residents; follow up to drive move-ins


• Communicate the value and living experience of the community


• Secure lease agreements and assist with application/screening steps


• Track leads, manage leasing pipeline, and maintain strong prospect communication


• Support renewals by communicating lease expirations and coordinating renewal process


• Assist with marketing efforts and resident events as needed

Preferred (not required)

Property management software experience (Yardi, RealPage/OneSite, MRI, AppFolio, etc.)

Luxury, lease-up, rehab, or tax credit (LIHTC) experience

Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus
