West Shore in Melbourne, FL is seeking a polished Leasing Consultant to blend sales, customer service, and outreach marketing for a premier apartment community. This role requires high-energy engagement and a strong ability to close leases in an upscale setting.

Under the Property Manager, you will tour prospects, respond to inquiries, manage waitlists, and contribute marketing ideas to drive traffic year-round.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet & tour leasing prospects.
• Ensure leasing targets are achieved and communicate opportunities or threats to the Property Manager.
• Respond quickly to all online rental inquiries.
• Understand site leasing trends, traffic patterns and product availability.
• Maintain sales/leasing models and ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Close the leasing process by requesting the application.
• Ensure lead information is complete in software platforms on time.
• Follow up with prospects by phone, text, or email.
• Manage the waitlist and communicate changes to prospects.
• Warm call prospects as needed.
• Ensure proper screening procedures are executed quickly and accurately.
• Prepare and execute the lease agreement and move-in paperwork.
• Collect all funds and move-in related fees.
• Ensure model open/close signage is maintained.
• Provide support to all customer service efforts at the community.
• Actively participate in daily social media engagement and weekly/monthly marketing ideas.
• Complete other tasks as directed and available on Saturdays.

General Summary

Under the immediate supervision of the Property Manager, the Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing production at an apartment community.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Meet, greet & tour leasing prospects
• Ensure that both individual and group leasing targets and expectations are achieved for the community and proactively communicate both opportunities or threats to the Property Manager
• Ensure that all online rental inquiries are responded to quickly and effectively
• Have an in-depth understanding of site leasing trends, traffic patterns and product availability
• Ensure all sales & leasing models are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance and proactively communicate any problems to the appropriate party to address
• Ensure the “tour route” is maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance and proactively communicate any problems to the appropriate party to address
• Properly close the leasing process by asking for the application - ABC (Always Be Closing)...
• Ensure all lead information is correct and complete within our software platforms within required timelines
• Ensure all prospects are followed up with by phone call, text, or email
• Effectively manage the community waitlist and communicate with prospects as changes occur
• Warm call prospects as needed
• Ensure the proper execution of all screening procedures is completed quickly and accurately
• Ensure the proper preparation and execution of the lease agreement and related move-in paperwork
• Ensure the proper collection of all funds and move-in related fees
• Ensure “model open” signs are put out and brought in daily and that they maintain an acceptable appearance
• Provide support and assistance to all customer service efforts at the community
• Actively participate in daily social media engagement posting as well as provide weekly and monthly marketing and outreach ideas that continue to drive traffic to the community even when season slows
• Completes other tasks as directed and assigned.
• Must be available to work Saturday.
