Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue in Boca Raton is seeking an Alteration Staff member to join the tailoring team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional tailoring and customer service within a luxury retail setting.

The position requires at least 3 years of fitting and alterations experience on luxury garments, with strong knowledge of specialty skills and proficiency with standard sewing and tailoring equipment. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
• Strong background in specialty skills (leather, knits, beading, etc.) is desirable.
• Ability to use standard sewing, pressing, and spotting equipment.
• Comfort with specialty machines: double-needle, buttonhole, cover-stitch, leather.
