Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking an Alteration Staff member to join the tailoring team, delivering customer service and tailoring expertise. You will model customer service principles and contribute to high-performance outcomes within a luxury retail setting.

The role requires at least 3 years of tailoring experience with high-end garments, strong awareness of luxury fabric and construction, and the ability to guide alterations decisions during fittings. Excellent customer relations are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
• Strong technical background in specialty skills such as leather, knits, double face, beading, fine tailoring, buttonholes.
