Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Tailor to perform alterations, resizing, and restyling of merchandise across stores. You will support fitters with professional assistance, ensure alteration quality, and maintain sewing equipment in a fast-paced luxury retail setting.

The role requires experience in tailoring or industrial sewing, ability to read English, and basic math skills for measurements. Excellent attention to detail and adherence to quality standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tailoring operation or industrial sewing environment.
• Ability to read English and understand instruction by Manager, Supervisor, or Lead.
• Basic math for measurements and alterations.

Responsibilities

• Alter garments to meet Neiman Marcus quality standards, equal or better than original construction.
• Adjust seams, sleeves, shoulders, and other fit details as directed.
• Operate and maintain sewing equipment and tools.
• Self-inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Follow instructions from Supervisor/Lead and complete assigned alterations.
