Job summary

Neiman Marcus in the United States is seeking a Tailor to perform alterations, resizing, and restyling of luxury merchandise. You will support fitters with attention to fit, alteration quality, and structural integrity of apparel.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tailoring operation or industrial sewing environment preferred.
• Ability to read English and understand instruction from Manager/Supervisor/Lead.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for measurements and alterations.

Responsibilities

• Alter garments to Neiman Marcus quality standards, matching original construction.
• Modify seams, shoulders, sleeves, collars, and pockets as needed.
• Operate and maintain sewing equipment and materials used in alterations.
• Self-inspect completed work to ensure quality before passing to supervisor.
• Complete tasks assigned by Manager, Supervisor, or Lead.
