Job summary

Montage Healdsburg seeks a Chef de Cuisine to lead culinary operations, ensuring quality and guest satisfaction. You will oversee production, plating, and staff, partnering with the Executive Chef to control costs and uphold safety standards.

This role requires at least three years of supervisory culinary experience and strong communication skills, with weekend/holiday flexibility in a luxury hotel setting. Opportunities for growth exist within Montage Hotels & Resorts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of culinary supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control and scheduling is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations with the Executive Chef.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise sous chefs and cooks.
• Develop menus with culinary innovation and presentation, and manage costs.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and quality standards are met.
