Job summary

AIRE Ancient Baths Copenhagen in Chicago is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness and provide a welcoming space for guests in the locker room. You will interact with clients at the start and end of their experience, ensuring comfort and a pristine environment throughout your shift.

You will also manage laundry inventory, monitor supplies, and uphold safety guidelines, contributing to the luxury atmosphere AIRE is known for across our centers.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the hospitality, spa, or gym industry, is preferred.
• Customer-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Detail-oriented with great organizational skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40lbs.

Responsibilities

• Client Experience: Ensure the wellbeing of clients in the changing room area, overseeing their comfort, providing necessary products, and maintaining impeccable cleanliness and tidiness for client reception.
• Client Experience: Address client queries and concerns, offering assistance to enhance their overall experience.
• Client Experience: Uphold the highest standards of conduct in all activities, ensuring adherence to grooming standards.
• Laundry & Facility Maintenance: Cleaning and sanitizing locker rooms, showers, and other areas to meet high standards, promptly addressing maintenance issues.
• Laundry & Facility Maintenance: Replenishing toiletries, hygiene products, and other essentials, ensuring items are neatly arranged and accessible.
• Laundry & Facility Maintenance: Emptying trash bins, replacing liners, and ensuring trash areas are odor-free and sanitary.
• Laundry & Facility Maintenance: Sweeping and mopping floors and keeping them dry for guest safety.
• Laundry & Facility Maintenance: Collecting used towels for laundering, restocking fresh towels, and maintaining organized displays.
• Laundry & Facility Maintenance: Thoroughly cleaning showers, sinks, toilets, and mirrors, sanitizing high-touch areas.
• Laundry & Facility Maintenance: Wiping down lockers, benches, and surfaces to ensure spotless conditions.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Compliance & Safety: Monitor locker room areas to maintain privacy, security, and tranquility for all guests.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate with team members to address guest requests and resolve concerns.
