The West Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks an experienced Floor Technician to maintain carpeted and hard floor areas across the resort. This role is physically demanding and requires operating large floor-cleaning equipment and following safety rules.

You will work with housekeeping and maintenance, respond to spills, and ensure high cleanliness standards. Competitive wages, benefits, and professional growth await within a growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of Floor Technician or similar experience in a Luxury Resort environment.
• Hospitality Certificate, Diploma or formal training preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and safety procedures.
• Experience using floor and carpet cleaning equipment in large resort establishments.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 40–50 lbs.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Vacuum, shampoo and thoroughly clean carpets using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
• Mop, strip, scrub, and buff various hard floor surfaces within the resort.
• Work collaboratively with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
• Respond to emergency spills and other floor cleaning requests as needed.
• Operate and maintain floor machinery safely and according to standards.
• Follow health and safety regulations for chemical handling and storage.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned spaces meeting quality standards.
