Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a L'Avenue at Saks Dishwasher / Steward to uphold sanitation, organization, and safety across dishwashing and related areas. You’ll ensure every plate, glass, and utensil is impeccably sanitized to support luxury service.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a clean station, and follow health/sanitation standards. Flexible schedule with exposure to premium hospitality operations at Saks Global.

Qualifications

• Prior stewarding/dishwashing in high-volume or upscale hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with safe handling of china, glassware, and utensils.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize, wash, restock pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware to support service.
• Carefully handle delicate wares to minimize breakage and ensure safety.
• Operate and maintain the commercial dish machine; monitor chemicals and temps.
• Organize stewarding area with cleaning solutions and soaking stations.
• Maintain kitchen floors and manage waste in compliance with standards.
