Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic engineering team as Engineer.

Our Engineer will support the Assistant Director of Engineering, on the day-to-day operation of the Engineering Department, providing service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in a courteous and professional manner to achieve guest

Qualifications

High School education or equivalent experience.
Experience from three months to one full year in related position.
Must have license.
Requires working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.
On-the-job learning or certifications may apply.
Ability to operate computer equipment.

Responsibilities

Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update logs.
Repair equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and related equipment.
Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and public areas.
Respond to emergencies such as fires or power failures.
Clean and maintain Eng. stations and grease traps; keep department organized.
Install or relocate equipment as needed.
Assist energy conservation programs.
Assist in installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations.
