Job summary

SVARIN CREATIVE is seeking a Production Manager to lead end-to-end luxury event production, coordinating timelines, budgets, fabrication, and on-site execution with designers and account leads. Based in the New York City or Chicago area, this full-time, on-site role requires supervising vendors and crew, managing load-in/strike, and ensuring safety and quality standards throughout all production stages.

Qualifications

• Experience in event production management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and on-site operations.
• Strong vendor and crew management skills, with the ability to coordinate fabrication partners, rental companies, and logistics providers.
• Proficiency with project management tools, production tracking, and budget monitoring.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and installation methods for event environments.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Clear, professional communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and creative partners.
• Ability to work on-site for extended hours during event builds, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Commitment to safety and risk management practices in production, installation, and on-site operations.
• Relevant experience in luxury events, experiential marketing, or scenic production is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in production, event management, design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end production of luxury events from initial concept to on-site execution.
• Coordinate timelines, resources, and budgets to meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Manage production schedules, supervise vendors and crew, and oversee load-in and strike.
• Translate creative concepts into detailed production plans and technical drawings.
• Maintain inventory, enforce safety protocols, and continuously improve production processes.
