Role Description

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing visual concepts and designs that support luxury event branding, including print, digital, and environmental graphics. Day-to-day tasks include creating event identities, logos, layouts, and typography treatments, preparing production-ready files, and collaborating with event designers, fabricators, and vendors to ensure accurate execution of design assets. The role involves participating in brainstorming sessions, refining client presentations, and maintaining brand consistency across all touchpoints and materials. The ideal candidate has a refined design sensibility, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to move confidently between conceptual design and production-ready artwork. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Chicago Area, requiring regular collaboration with the creative team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience; experience in luxury events, hospitality, experiential design, fashion, interiors, or a creative agency a plus
• A strong portfolio demonstrating typography, layout, visual storytelling, branding, logo and print design
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Apps or similar
• Strong presentation-design skills, including experience with Google Slides, PowerPoint, or similar
• Working knowledge of print production, color management, bleeds, file preparation, and large-format graphics
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Strong proofreading skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage several active projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to receive feedback constructively and translate creative direction into thoughtful design solutions
