Job summary

The Mather in Tysons is seeking a Kokua Server for its Food & Beverage team in a luxury senior living environment. You will deliver professional, timely service, build connections with residents and guests, and ensure dietary needs are followed.

This is a part-time position with flexible schedules, including weekends, weeknights, and holidays. Ideal candidates have excellent communication and hospitality skills, enjoy teamwork, and are passionate about high-end service in a caring community

Qualifications

• Excellent interaction and communication skills.
• Demonstrates completion of assigned duties through effective teamwork.
• Strong hospitality service skills and a passion for interacting with people.
• Prior dining service experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Welcomes all tables with a warm greeting.
• Takes accurate food orders.
• Serves food and beverages across multiple venues with different service styles.
• Provides recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Closes checks promptly and accurately.
• Maintains a neat appearance per standards.
• Completes related tasks and side work as assigned.
• Communicates residents' and guests' concerns to supervisors and management.
• Maintains sanitation standards and goals.
