Job summary

Hillcrest-Country-Club is seeking an experienced Dining Room Server to be a constant point of contact for members, ensuring their food and beverage needs are met and contributing to a first-class dining experience.

You will rotate among five restaurants including the Dining Room, Grill, Patio, Courtside Café, Pool Café, and assist with private and club events. A two-year server background in a luxury setting and a polished, service-oriented demeanor are required.

Qualifications

• Two years’ previous server experience in a similar luxury environment.
• Knowledge of food, wine, and fine dining service standards; current Food Handler and TIPS Certification a plus.
• A service-oriented personality.
• Pleasant and caring manner; warm, friendly and outgoing without being overbearing.
• Able to communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders in English; follow oral and written instructions and memorize information; bilingual English and Spanish a plus.
• Team player able to work well with others.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to use a wine opener.
• Exceptional grooming habits, maintaining a clean and complete uniform as designated by Management.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Able to work weekends, holidays and long hours on short notice.
• CPR Certification a plus.
• Lift up to 20 lbs

Responsibilities

• Servers will set quality tables and serve first class meals to Club members and guests according to well-established rules of etiquette.
• Experienced individuals will rotate among the Club’s five restaurants including the Dining Room, Grill, Patio, Courtside Café, Pool Café and various Private and Club Events.
• Servers will provide outstanding service and contribute to the success of the team and the Club as a whole.
• Perform incidental duties to meet member needs and create lasting memories.
