Napleton Mercedes-Benz of Rochester in Rochester, MN is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform repair and maintenance per dealership and factory standards, building customer loyalty through trusted service. Maintain communication with parts and service staff, diagnose issues, and stay current with factory bulletins and training to ensure top-quality workmanship.

The role offers starting pay between $35.00 and $50.00 per flat rate hour, plus incentives.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order and factory standards
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics
• Stay updated on factory bulletins and training
• Keep management informed of mechanical repair problems
• Maintain an organized work area
• Other duties as assigned by manager
