Job summary

5 Star Cares in Lutz, FL seeks experienced CNAs, DSPs, HHAs and PCAs for 12-hour day shifts. The role supports higher-acuity and Level 2 residents in group homes. Weekend options available; pay ranges from $15 to $19 per hour depending on experience and certification.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in acute care, rehab or skilled nursing, CPR/BLS & First Aid, and pass AHCA Level 2 background checks. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care, rehab, or skilled nursing.
• Experience with higher-acuity patients preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS & First Aid certification.
• Must pass AHCA Level 2 Background Screening (House Bill 531 – 2025) background screening clearance.

• Assist with personal care, mobility, feeding, and ADLs.
• Support individuals with intellectual and/or behavioral health needs.
• Document care and communicate with the care team.

Schedule Options

• Weekend shifts available:
  • Saturday & Sunday
  • Every-other weekend

Pay: $15–$19/hour (based on experience and certification)
