Job summary

5 Star Cares in Florida is seeking Full-Time Staff Nurses on 12-hour shifts (6 PM–6 AM) to join a calm, supportive team with low patient ratios and a focus on personalized care for pediatric and young adult patients.

Requirements include active Florida RN or LPN license and CPR/BLS; experience in acute care, rehab, hospital, home health or hospice; willingness to participate in disaster team; ACHA screening.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Must pass ACHA Level 2 screening
• Experience in acute care, rehab, hospital, home health, or hospice
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
• Must participate in 5 Star Cares Emergency/Disaster Team (A, B, or C)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established care plans
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately
• Submit timely progress reports to the clinical team and physicians
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on orders and assessments

Schedule

• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12 hours)
• Rotating weekends required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established care plans

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Pediatric and young adult care
