Monk's Bar in downtown Wisconsin is seeking a Lunchtime Host (10:30am–4:00pm, Mon–Fri) to warmly greet guests on arrival, manage seating, and guide guests to the best available table.

Duties include recording names when seating is limited, calling out parties as tables open, providing estimated wait times, offering menus, and thanking guests as they leave. Qualifications: no prior restaurant experience required; ability to stand for long periods; clear communication; exceptional grooming.

Responsibilities

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Manage seating to ensure efficient flow and balance of service stations.
• Record guest names and party size when immediate seating is limited.
• Call out name and party size when tables become available and provide estimated wait times.
• Accommodate special seating requests when possible and inform guests of server name.
• Inspect tables for presentation and completeness and relay messages to servers and bussers.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Promote retail sales and assist customers.
