Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Valve Responsible Engineer within the Lunar Permanence division to own valve components across their life cycle from requirements to flight operations. You will join a team designing valves for crewed lunar vehicles, enabling a sustained human presence on the Moon.

The role emphasizes end-to-end design, analysis coordination (FEA/CFD), and collaboration across engineering teams to ensure reliable valve performance in spaceflight environments.

Qualifications

• Own valve designs end-to-end: requirements, interfaces, detailed design, drawing release, test support, and anomaly resolution
• Perform first-order structural, thermal, and flow analyses to verify designs; coordinate with the analysis team for higher-fidelity modeling (FEA, CFD)
