Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced engineer to apply technical expertise for the Lunar Transportation system as part of the HLS SLD program. You will design, analyze, and test aerospace structures and work directly with NASA and national partners to enable safe human spaceflight.

Responsibilities include creating 3D models, drawings, and interface control documents; supporting manufacturing and integration; conducting tests and trade studies; and reporting activity and budget status across

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in engineering and 3+ years in aerospace structures.
• Experience with metallic components, load paths, and sizing.
• Familiar with GD&T and 3D CAD software, plus material/manufacturing know-how.
• Experience on aircraft/launch vehicles and full design integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test primary/secondary structures including composites and metals.
• Create 3D models, detail drawings, assemblies, and interface control docs.
• Provide manufacturing support and technical guidance for integration.
• Support configuration development and trade studies; report status and budget.
• Develop test plans, specs, and documentation for flight hardware; coordinate tests.
• Collaborate with materials and manufacturing teams to deliver aerospace hardware.
